Everyone needs a community. Nothing is better than connecting with like-minded and supportive people! Having the space to seek similar inspiration and share the same interests is the recipe for strong connections! This weeks plant lady Morgan Doane has built one of the most well-known plant collectives there is with a few friends, House Plant Club! Its a feed of lush greenery and plant-filled homes. Which is the perfect eye candy for all plant lovers!

As a child at my grandma's cabin in northern Michigan where plants were everywhere, both inside and out.
Tell us about your favorite ways to decorate with plants?
I like to display plants growing in water in glass jars of different shapes and sizes. It's fun watching them grow and being able to see the roots progress.
Why do you feel houseplants are necessary for your home?
For me, tending plants is a stress-reliever. Plants give me a sense of accomplishment when I see them thrive and age.
What are your must-have accessories for the perfect plant corner?
I keep cute watering cans filled up and tucked away beside all my plant groupings. I also like to keep radiometers in sunny spots next to plants because they are fun to watch spin.
Have you noticed any trends in houseplants?
My personal favorite trend is Monstera deliciosa all over everything. Bedspreads, shower curtains, tube tops, flip flops..everything looks good with big holey leaves on it!
What's the next plant you want to get?
Chain of Hearts (variegated would be even better!)
Who are some of your favorite plant ladies?
@cleverbloom @yerbamaladesigns @oberryssucculents @theoperatingsystem @labohemehouseofthewishingtrees @pettingdogs @arianatanabe @sacredelements I could go on forever. I love all the plant ladies!
Do you have any tips for aspiring plant lady?
Surround yourself with the things and the people you love. Don't waste your time on anyone or anything that won't love you back. Some plants (and some people) just aren't for you! And that's ok! Stick with what works. What you nurture will grow.
